The Margaret River Red Cross shop is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with store operations ahead of its relocation to larger premises at 4/111 Bussell Highway next week.
Red Cross spokesperson Barbara McMullan said the new store needed more volunteers to help with sales and sorting through donations.
“Volunteering in the Red Cross shop provides a great opportunity for locals to get involved in our community,” Ms McMullan said.
“We are very inclusive and welcome people looking for friendship, retired people wanting to participate in the community, people wanting to develop their English skills, and job seekers keen for work experience in the retail sector.
“Training is provided and no previous experience is required.”
The new Red Cross shop on Bussell Highway will continue serving Margaret River by offering quality new and pre-loved clothes, accessories and homewares at affordable prices.
Proceeds from all Red Cross Shops help fund Red Cross work supporting people who are experiencing hardship here in Australia and across the region.
