We heard you were starring in the CinefestOz shortlisted film Jungle, and we thought you may need a little push to convince you to visit our corner of the world.
You’re probably very busy with being Daniel Radcliffe every day, so we though we would prepare a shortlist of our own – the best spots to check out on a whirlwind tour of the South West.
- Check out the Cowaramup herd in the quaint country town smack bang in the middle of dairy country.
- Take a paddle down the Margaret River and see what all the fuss is about.
- Rock about in your ugg boots all day long if you want – we do.
- Taste some top shelf spirits and learn about the process at the Grove and the Margaret River Distilling Co.
- Drink wine and eat chocolate at any one of the Margaret River region’s wineries and gourmet producers.
- Check out the freshest of the fresh produce and delicious food at the Margaret River Farmer’s Market.
- Catch some rays at Meelup Beach, or Boranup Beach, or Hamelin Bay, or Kilcarnup… or Injidup… or Flinders Bay… or… you get the idea.
- Watch the sunset over the ocean at Surfers Point, preferably with fish & chips or at least a local coffee.
- Join the locals for a pint and a steak at Settlers Tavern before catching some local live music.
- Experience some traditional magic on a tour with Koomal Dreaming
- Grab a pie at Augusta Bakery… and a few loaves for the drive back.
- Meet some of the cutest critters between the Capes at Sunflowers Animal Farm.
- Get onboard a whale watching cruise in Augusta or Geographe Bay and see the giants of the ocean up close.
- Join the list of celebrities who have visited the region like Nigella Lawson, Hugo Weaving and Princess Mary
- Take on the waves of Margaret River like the world’s best surfers.
- Visit an art gallery, nestled in the forest or amongst chic boutique shops in the town centres.
- Take in some history and the beautiful nature of the region at Ellensbrook homestead.
- Go even further back in time with a tour of one of the region’s karst caves.
- Escape the paparazzi to go glamping and watch the stars in a luxury tent.
- Go mountain biking or take a hike along the Cape to Cape track
- Drop in the bowl at the Margaret River Skate Park (conveniently close to the Hospital if you need a patch up).
