There were plenty of familiar faces in attendance at Voyager Estate’s Cabin Fever event, featuring Australia’s leading Italian chef, Guy Grossi.
Grossi’s appearance in the dining room led to cheers and applause from eager diners, keen to sample his three Italian-inspired courses, each with a local twist.
Dessert was provided by recent addition to the Voyager kitchen, head chef Santiago Fernandez.
During a break in preparation, Grossi said he was excited to be back in Margaret River and commended the Voyager team for their work in the kitchen and during service.
“They’re all professionals, it all but guarantees everyone will have a good time tonight,” he said.
“Everything has gone really smoothly and I’m excited to see what people think of what we’ve got in store for them.”
