The news just keeps getting better for the Ocean Grown Abalone (OGA) team, who last week led a contingent of WA seafood businesses which scored four awards at the National Seafood Industry Awards in Sydney.
The Augusta operation, the world’s first commercial abalone ranch, was named the Australian Seafood Industry Producer of the Year.
WA Fisheries Minister Dave Kelly said OGA had made a valuable contribution to building a sustainable fishing industry in the State.
“What Brad Adams and his team have done in Augusta with abalone ranching is revolutionary and will assist others to address industry challenges,” he said.
The business last week lodged a Prospectus with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) to raise $10 million and list on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
The Prospectus offers 40,000,000 shares at an issue price of $0.25 per share to raise the $10 million.
