Students at Margaret River Independent School have taken part in the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child project this month, helping to make a difference to children in need.
More than 15 shoebox gifts were made up by students to give to girls and boys aged from 2 to 14 years.
The gift-filled shoeboxes are likely to be the only gifts received by the children in question and included something to wear, something to love, something to play with, items to use at school, personal hygiene items and a little something special.
The project is run by Samaritan’s Purse and sees gift boxes of made up from donations and sent to those in need overseas.
