MARGARET River’s newest bar/restaurant/cafe Morries Anytime opened on Sunday, welcoming curious visitors from 7.30am to 10pm.
Customers enjoyed items including fruit muffins and coffee, as well as Morries’ original authentic cocktail list with the rum boat float proving to be a crowd pleaser. Some people clocked up a free coffee on the coffee cards handed out to all.
Morries owner Anthony Janssen said, “The response has been great, and it’s amazing to see so many local faces, and some new faces supporting us on our opening day.
“A big thanks to our team for putting in the late nights and early mornings over the last week to get everything ready for open, we couldn’t have done it without you all,’ he said.
Replacing the old Boho Bar on Bussell Highway, Morries’ regular open times are 7.30am-late Monday to Saturday and 7.30-10pm Sunday.
“Our aim is to complement our fellow businesses in Margaret River by offering something different. We really hope you’ll feel comfortable, relaxed and at home at Morries,” Anthony said.
