MARGARET River Police have released security camera footage in the hope of retrieving a fibreglass cow stolen from Cowaramup recently.
The statue was stolen from outside Cowaramup Agencies after 11pm on July 28.
The incident was caught on two CCTV cameras owned by a pharmacy opposite the site on Bussell Highway.
Footage shows three people examining the calf, which sits next to a bigger fibreglass cow on the footpath.
The three walk away, before two return to wrench the calf from its fixings.
Cameras also captured the culprits as they sat on another fibreglass cow outside the pharmacy and took photographs with a phone. It appeared one man had a beard. Cowaramup Agencies' own camera was unfortunately not working on the night.
Although the video was not clear, Police Constable Jeremy Priest said it was helpful.
He urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the Margaret River Police on 9757 2222.
