MARGARET River Senior High School hosted their annual Arts Festival at the Margaret River Cultural Centre on Wednesday and Thursday last week.
Audiences enjoyed music and drama performances, as well as artwork and complimentary food presented by more than 150 contributing students.
Even the hosts of the show were entertaining as they introduced each act with a scripted newsreporter team skit.
Highlights of the night included an eerie group of hooded-cloak figures singing O’Fortuna, the upper students’ Kyoto dance, and a humorous monologue about speed-dating.
EMOTIONLESS: Lucy Metcalfe, Mandy Mcauliffe, and Alina Doyle, year 11, impress with their miming.
GOOD TIMES: Geraldine Clarke, Claire Johnson and Dave Swainston enjoy a chat over nibblies.
TASTY TREATS: Naomi Eggeling, year 11, hands out food prepared by students.
MUSIC AND MUNCHIES: Ella Borrello and Sam Busetti enjoy mini burgers before the show.
THE THREE GEES: Gemma Spencer, Geena Dickson and Grace Goodwin, year 11, practice their act in the car park.
POWERFUL DANCE: Students perform their Kyoto dance.
