Hasbro has announced the latest edition of the Monopoly Australia board game, with properties ranked in value by State and Territory according to results of a national poll.
The poll, held in late 2016, gave Australians the chance to vote for their towns to be represented on the board.
Thanks in part to passionate campaigning from proud locals, smaller spots like Port Lincoln and Phillip Island scored places over larger destinations such as Adelaide or Brisbane.
Western Australia is represented in pink, coming in sixth place for poll results overall ahead of Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
Esperance, Margaret River and Broome all scored a nod, with Esperance taking the most valuable square at $160, while Margaret River and Broome each carry a $140 price tag.
Alice Springs and Darwin are bargain buys at $60 apiece, while the priciest property – Sydney Harbour – will set you back $400.
Other additions to the board include the Questacon Science and Technology Centre in the ACT, Victoria’s Great Ocean Road and the Barossa Valley in South Australia.
