Dairy Australia has launched a new video featuring Cowaramup as the LEGENDAIRY capital of WA.
The video highlights the community spirit of Cowaramup and recognises the contribution and hard work of those who made the coveted regional title a reality.
Dairy Australia’s Community Project Manager Natasha Busbridge said the video highlighted how the dairy industry plays a vital role in communities such as Cowaramup.
“Cowaramup is one of Australia’s most inspiring dairy towns, and it was a pleasure to visit the town during the Deja Moo festival to produce this film,” she said.
The town received a $2,500 community grant to go towards a playground and a heritage trail capturing the town’s dairy legacy.
This trail is set to feature a series of plaques that sit alongside the famous fiberglass cows that line the main street.
The video is available on the LEGENDAIRY Capital website at www.legendairy.com.au/capital or Facebook page.
