To celebrate International Women’s Day last Thursday, Lower Blackwood Landcare hosted a basket weaving workshop at the Alexandra Bridge Hall.
The workshop, which was aimed at rural women, explored the topic of local weeds and how they can be used in crafts.
Cynamon Aeria of Wild Art Weaving taught participants the craft of weaving baskets using weedy material from Arum lily, Watsonia and Typha.
