The Margaret River District Club will host their first ever Aussie Rock Family BBQ this weekend, with a selection of iconic Australian music and a genuine Aussie barbie lined up.
A partnership between the club and Party DJ South West Ryan Cope, the event is the first of many themed parties planned at the central venue.
“I’m really excited to be partnering with a long standing venue that’s focused on being for ’the locals’, said Cope, who will be spinning tunes on the night.
“After DJ’ing a few birthday parties there I could see the great potential for some events that would help the Club with their vision of revitalising the venue and making more people aware of the awesome space they have.
“They have a great team and a fantastic location with great food.
“I’m looking forward to playing some great Aussie music out on their gorgeous deck while Alan cooks up a ripper Barbie for everyone. Hopefully people will love the Aussie rock classics and stick around for a bit of a dance.”
The Aussie Rock Family BBQ kicks off from 4pm at the District Club on Tunbridge St. Adults $20 and kids $12 includes a selection of barbecue meats, chicken, vegetarian barbecue and salads.
Tickets available at the door or call 9757 2220.
