RAC Rescue has been sent to an incident on the beach near Georgette Road, in Gracetown on Monday morning.
Witnesses have told the Mail that a surfer was attacked at Cobblestones surf break and was being treated at the scene.
Career and volunteer (Fire and Rescue Service/Bush Fire Service) firefighters are on their way to the scene and are assisting RAC Rescue.
