Country artists, and husband and wife duo, Adam Eckersley (The Adam Eckersley Band) and Brooke McClymont – known for her work with sisters Samantha and Mollie in The McClymonts - are in town to celebrate their debut album, Adam & Brooke, charting at #1 on the ARIA Country Album chart.
The pair married in 2009 and released their first single together, Train Wreck late last year.
Billed by reviewers as one of the best Australian country duets albums ever, the self produced 10 track album has been winning fans across the country and the airwaves, somewhat of a surprise to the couple.
"This is just the best news, so thanks to everyone that is supporting us." Brooke McClymont said.
"We didn't know what to expect when we decided to do an album together but we did know that we love the songs and the recordings and you can only hope that if you love it then other people will too."
As part of their extensive, five month long 'Highway Sky Tour', the duo will land at Settlers Tavern tonight, Thursday June 14 kicking off at 9.30pm.
The tour then moves to Bunbury and Fremantle.
