The Margaret River Hockey Club will once again join forces with the town's Dominos franchise as part of the store’s ‘Doughraiser’ fundraising drives.

The club runs a number of fundraisers throughout the year to cover costs associated with running hockey across senior and junior grades, without dedicated training or match facilities in Margaret River.

Club President Colin Fox said a team of dedicated volunteers, players and parents made sure the teams made it to training and games each week.

“We’re lucky that despite the logistical issues, we have a very strong playing base and new players joining up each season,” he said. “We have to work very hard to make sure everyone can get to and from training and games, and there are people who help with driving the bus up to Busselton and back.”

The Margaret River Hockey Club Pizza Fundraiser is on Wednesday September 12 from 11am until close.

One dollar from each pizza sold throughout the day will go straight to the club. For more information visit www.facebook.com/margaretriverhockey/
