Wilyabrup winemaker Vanya Cullen may have just become a household name after culinary queen Nigella Lawson praised her graces on the Today show.
Lawson appeared on the show to promote her event at the Margaret River Gourmet Escape in November.
While on the show, Lawson mentioned how much she loved Cullen Wines and seeing how natural and wonderful everything was at the winery when she last visited.
“Vanya Cullen is such a wonderful local character as well,” Lawson told the nation.
Ms Cullen said she was absolutely thrilled for the winery, Gourmet Escape and Margaret River.
“Of course I am totally blown away, and honoured that she has graced us with her wonderful comments, I am so over the moon.
“She has said before she loved the Amber and now we know she still loves it. It is such great endorsement of a biodynamics, sustainability family and a great wine made naturally. We love her.”
Ms Cullen said since the plug many people had commented on social media and email but it was hard to quantify the numbers, but had been given a great boost.
