The heads of the Augusta Margaret River Hawks Year 10 side are still being held high despite a grand final loss to South Bunbury at Payne Park on Saturday.

It was a tight game for all four quarters, with South Bunbury pulling ahead in the last five minutes.

The Year 10 Hawks squad gave it their all, especially impressive given the injuries and illnesses plaguing the team.

Lachlan Murray, Lachlan Allan, Tyler Webb, Jacques Fabre and Kade Dittmar were all standouts on the ground during the match.

Final season presentations following the grand final saw Kade Dittmar collecting the award for Fairest and Best with Jayden Williams runner up.

Throughout the year these boys have grown and bonded and played with the true spirit of the game. Well done to the coaches, players, helpers and the club community for a great season.
