This week’s Tuesday Veterans competition we saw Peter Brennan in first place (22), Michael Beale in second (20c/b) and third went to Niall Carey (20).
The Margaret River Golf Shop sponsored the final of the Margaret River Ladies Championships 2018, which was an 18-hole Stroke/Putting competition.
The trophy went to Sarah Roddy with 8/7 , with runner up Wendy Campbell.
During the day there was a total of four flights, the winners of the other flights are as follows: Flight 2 Winner Ricky Coates with 2/1 and Runner up Sue Bloxam, Flight 3 Winner Sharon Thompson with 4/2 and Runner up Jo Booker and the final Flight 4 was Winner Megan Booth 5/4 and Runner up Jackie Dickson.
The Abbs Electrical Men’s Scroungers 18-hole event saw Daniel Hunt (42) in first, second going to Graeme Smith (40) and Robert Williams third (9c/b).\
Friday’s mixed 9-hole stableford event saw First Man going to Kevin Parker (22c/b). First Woman went to Val Meleri (20c/b) and Overall Third place went to Terry Haywood (22).
The AFL Grand final kept a lot away for the Men’s 18-hole Stableford however for those who played we saw David Burges in first (38), close behind we had Donald Bredenkamp in second (37c/b) and third was David Glasson (37).
Sunday’s 18-hole mixed stableford sponsored by Ange and Dave Burges we had Sharon Thompson in first place (39c/b), Linda Lister in second (39c/b) and third Michael Kelly (39c/b).
