Last Friday the Cowaramup Bowling Club Ladies' Day welcomed 30 bowlers from Augusta, Margaret River, Dunsborough, Eaton and Broadwater to enjoy the spirited competition, organized by Vicki Williams and her team from Cowaramup. Pat Sutton from Margaret River was the invaluable Record Keeper.
'Winning Skipper' was Pat Shenton (Broadwater) - runner up, Jill Winter (Dunsborough)
'Winning Second' was Patricia Everington (Broadwater) - runner up, Jem Cooper (Dunsborough)
'Winning Lead' was Vicki Williams (Cowaramup) - runner up, Liz Brice (Cowaramup).
The Ladies were overwhelmed by the support given by local businesses who donated prizes for the Raffle. Almost everyone won a prize! The Major Sponsor was KLW Insurance and Planning Services, who kindly provided prize money, which was greatly appreciated.
Vicki said, "it was a lovely social day, with excellent bowls! It was our annual open day, and the best turn out we have had for several years. Great to see so many visiting Clubs and also our new members involved."
