South West homes were shaken on Friday morning as a 5.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded at Lake Muir in the south west, sending shockwaves as far north as Perth.
Geoscience Australia have confirmed the tremor took place at 5.06am, with plenty of residents taking to social media to report the odd occurrence.
It comes in the aftermath of a 5.6 magnitude earthquake happening on September 16 near Walpole.
