After several nights of partying in the Zone, WA school leavers opted for a relaxing day at the Royal Life Saving Society WA’s annual beach party at the stunning Meelup Beach.
Hundreds of Year 12 graduates from as far as the Eastern States and all corners of the state converged on the Don’t Drink & Drown Meelup Beach Party on November 21.
The event featured a giant Aqua Playground and resident Leavers DJs’ provided the soundtrack.
Volunteers from the Cancer Council WA, headspace, St John Ambulance, Red Frogs and more were in attendance.
WA Police were expecting around 8000 young people to visit Rottnest, Busselton and Dunsborough during the official Leavers period.
The annual event celebrates the end of secondary school for WA Year 12 students.
