Margaret River Independent School students were keen to try out the school’s new nature playground during the first week back at school for 2019.
Completed during the school holidays, students were excited to check out all the features of the structure which includes a fireman’s pole, climbing frame, fort, lower level cubby, and a bucket and pulley system.
The playground is part of a $100,000 Federal Government Capital Grant awarded to the school last year.
Also funded under the grant were two new classrooms, the re-installation of the kiln next to the Year 4 classroom, and landscaping work.
