Tim Stokes, an independent Byron Bay coastal folk and blues singer-songwriter will tour WA for the second time in February.
Stokes will be sharing songs from his two studio albums and fun renditions from artists who inspire him.
His original songs are sewn with hope, love and light, and when performing live, he emulsifies the swoon of Elvis’ - ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love With You’ and the party starter vibe of ‘Dumb Things’ - Paul Kelly.
Stokes has played the stages of Splendour in the Grass, the Bello Winter Music Festival, and Mullumbimby Music Festival.
Stokes resided in the South West of WA in 2000 and discovered a deep love and appreciation for the area, enjoying the surf, meeting locals and travellers, playing rugby with the Margaret River Gropers and refreshing beers there after a day working the vineyards.
Now a full time musician and touring artist, Stokes has taken a leap of faith to leave his former working life behind and follow his musical passion.
Stokes will play a series of South West dates including Cheeky Monkey Brewery on February 9, Caves House on February 10, Settlers Tavern on February 14, Highway Hotel on February 15 and Swings Taphouse on February 24.
