Thanks to the generosity of the members of the Margaret River Men’s Shed, St Thomas More Catholic Primary School has taken delivery of four park benches, to be installed on the campus grounds.
St Thomas More Assistant Principal Nicholle Achmad said the benches were delivered by members of the Shed and handed over to new school principal Russell Wylie last week, and would be used in the playground for students to enjoy lunch or take a rest.
“We are so fortunate to have such generous men in our community who have volunteered so much time to produce such amazing benches,” Ms Achmad said.
The St Thomas More PS annual fete fun day will be held on Saturday March 16 at the school campus on Wallcliffe Road from 10am – 2.00pm.
Entry is free with family friendly activities, entertainment, food stalls and a car boot sale and proceeds towards the school’s IT educational program.
