Ellensbrook.
The community are invited to celebrate the completion of works at Ellensbrook and learn more its rich history and stories.
The homestead was built in 1857 by Ellen and Alfred Bussell and operated as a home for Aboriginal children from 1899 until 1916.
Since then, the property has been retained as a place of significance because of its wide ranging natural, Aboriginal and historic values.
There will be food stalls, children’s activities, music and more from 12pm until 4pm on Saturday, February 23 at Ellen Brook Road, Margaret River.
