It was a week for Sponsors to take out first place and second place on their own sponsorship days at the Margaret River Golf Club.
Last week’s Tuesday Veterans Stroke 9-hole competition we saw Jon Bowden in first place with 33 c/b points, Rod Bishop in second with 33 points and Bill Taplin in third scoring 35 c/b points.
Wednesday women's 18 hole stableford competition had first place to Lorna Johnson on 41 points, second to Diane Yates on 35 points and third place to Maggi Foy with a score of 34 c/b points.
Thursday Men’s Scroungers 18-hole Stableford event sponsored by Mark Kevill of Kevill Electrical had Mr Kevill himself taking out first place on 41 points.
In second place was Terry Halsall on 40 c/b points while third went to Dave Noske on 40 points.
Friday's mixed 9 hole stableford event saw First Man going to Matthew O'Farrell on 21 points, First Woman to Diane Yates with 17 c/b points and Overall Third to John White on 20 points.
Saturday’s 18-hole Men’s Stableford event was sponsored by Kymac Electrical & Refrigeration – Clint McGregor and had Jeff Hedstrom in first place on 41 points.
Clint McGregor was in second place on 38 points and Russell Goldsworthy of Gosnells Golf Club took third place with 37 c/b points.
Sunday's mixed 18-hole Stableford event was sponsored by The Berry Farm's Julie Arthur and Mike Skivinis.
Cathy Abbs came in first place on 39 points, while Daniel Hunt was second on 37 points and Tim Fox in third with 36 c/b points.
