A free community information session will be held in the Margaret River region to help people with disability as well as their families and carers prepare for their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan.
Hosted by Advanced Personnel Management (APM), the session will provide information about the planning conversation, developing goals for the plans and utilising them.
APM General Manager Adrian Bradley said the group had been selected to provide local area coordination services for Margaret River as part of the NDIS Partners in the Community project.
Local area coordination is an important cornerstone of the NDIS and is delivered by Partners in the Community (PITC) who work closely with the National Disability Insurance Agency to build and improve the way the Scheme is delivered so it works for people with disability," he said.
"There will be opportunities to ask questions and have them answered by our team during the session."
The free session will be held at the Margaret River Community Centre at 33 Tunbridge Street on Thursday March 28 from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
