The Margaret River Concert Band is a community based band that plays a varied selection of musical genres for community and private functions, appearing regularly at events such as the annual Margaret River Christmas carols.
After the huge success of last year's Augusta Playout the band are certainly looking forward to entertaining everyone in Augusta again.
They are busily rehearsing a variety of music including Swing, Latin, Popular Classics, Rock, Concert pieces plus a March or two.
Musical Director Jane Moore will keep the group all "under control" with her baton and President Tony Barugh will MC the afternoon plus sing along to some of the band's favourite songs.
The beautiful voice of vocalist Andrea Frances will be joining the band for the day plus Augusta living legend and talented performer Deb "Spoons" Perry will also be on board to enhance the afternoon's entertainment.
Bring along your dancing shoes to show off some of your swing dance steps or simply tap your feet along with the band.

The Margaret River Concert Band's Augusta Playout is at the Augusta Centennial Hall on Sunday March 24 from 2.00pm to 4.30pm.
Tickets are $15 per person and are available at the Augusta Newsagency or on the door on the day.
