Triple M Southwest's breakfast announcer Allan Aldworth has raised more than $1200 for Give Me 5 For Kids.
Allan climbed the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse as many times as he could in one hour with $100 from Busselton Toyota going to the charity for each up and down he completed.
In total Allan managed to complete the lighthouse climb six times in the hour, which is 2112 steps.
"The next day my legs were so tight I couldn't even move but it is all worth when the money is going to the Perth Children's Hospital who help so many kids here in the South West," he said.
"It was so awesome of the crew at Cape Leeuwin to let us use this amazing lighthouse for a fundraiser as well as Busselton Toyota for jumping on board with the donation.
"Also all the donations from listeners were truly appreciated."
Give Me 5 for Kids is Southern Cross Austereo's national fundraiser which has been supporting and raising funds for local children's hospital wards across regional Australia for the last 25 years.
So far Triple M Southwest have raised $14,000 for Give Me 5 For Kids for 2019.
