The Cowaramup Bulls got their junior footy season off to a flier with two local derbies in the 9s and 11s age groups, plus a game for Bulls 13s against Hawks Orange.
The coaches were really pleased with the chance to blow out the cobwebs in the younger grades with the derby matches letting kids play against their mates.
A highlight for Bulls Red 9s was Oscar Buck's late goal, and in the 11s game it was a great mark by Bulls Red's Lachlan Kirkham - catching the ball while lying flat on his back!
There were also some great early-season skills on show amongst the young players.

In the 13s, Hawks Orange came out on top over the Bulls and while the scoreboard showed a big win for Orange, coaches were pleased to see a much improved second half by Bulls.
Final score: Hawks Orange 15.11 to Bulls Gold 4.3.
The club welcomes parent help on game days and at training, and there are always ways to get involved with the group.
