Colts deliver 77 point defeat
The Augusta Margaret River Hawks fared better than their League counterparts on Sunday as they delivered a whopping 77 point defeat to Donnybrook at VC Mitchell Park.
The Hawks dominated from the first quarter, with impressive kicking from Rafferty Milton, Charlie Wrigglesworth and Petra Black contributing to a 27 point lead at the main break, each securing 3 goals for the game.
Two goals apiece to Trent Buckland and Noah Cummins and a single to Jye Connachan put the hurt on the Dons while a solid defence kept the home side to just one point in the third term.
The Hawks Reserves side continued the good form defeating Donnybrook 62 to 50.
Donnybrook struggled to make a mark on the game in the first quarter, the Hawks restricting them to just one goal while the visitors racked up five for the term.
Donnybrook rallied in the second, kicking five of their own to bring the score back to an achievable 10 points by the half time siren.
A scoreless third quarter for the hosts left the Hawks with energy to out kick their opponents and despite a Donnybrook comeback in the final term, Augusta Margaret River managed to hold on for a good win away from home.
AMR's leading goalkickers were Jordan Hughes and Brad Russell with two goals each for the round.
Round Four results
The Eaton Boomers continued their winning streak with a top-notch performance at Glen Huon Reserve on Sunday afternoon.
Up against the Bunbury Bulldogs in Round Four, the Boomers were eager to claim another four points in front of a home crowd.
Spurred on by the fans, both sides produced mile-a-minute football in the opening term.
With the scores level at quarter time, Boomers' coach Brett Macguire rallied the troops and provided some strong words of advice.
Eaton took control of the contest and created its share of opportunities up forward.

The game between Harvey Bulls and Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault was called off, out of respect for Lachlan "Lockie" Hernaman.
The football community was devastated following Hernaman's sudden death on Tuesday, April 30.
Teams paid tribute to the footballer, his family, and the Harvey community by pausing for a minute's silence and wearing black armbands.
