Teachers, students and representatives from Phayaopittayakhom School in Thailand travelled to Margaret River last week to formally begin a sister school agreement with Margaret River Senior High School.
Coordinated by teacher Angela McCoy, the visit included time spent within the MRSHS classrooms as well as excursions to tourist spots around the region.
Margaret River principal Andrew Host welcomed the guests and said the latest Memorandum of Understanding between the two schools would allow more students to interact and understand cultures within neighbouring countries.
"Staff from both schools have very similar philosophies on education," Mr Host said.
"Our discussions today with senior PPK staff has just reinforced that, and we are very excited to have our sister school agreement with such a wonderful school.
"I hope our relationship continues to develop into the future and I thank you for taking time to visit us here in Margaret River."
