Margaret River resident, businesswoman and first time author Rebecca Hannan will launch her new book, the 30 Day Momentum Maker Challenge at a special event on Thursday May 30 at the Margaret River Library from 6pm.
According to Ms Hannan, the book captures the secret to empowerment and unlocking motivation, drawing on real-life experiences and focusing on helping people change their lives.
"The book was borne from a time when I wasn't taking care of herself and many of the things that were most important to me were being dismissed," she said.
"It cost me dearly in many areas of my life, so I created the 30 Day Momentum Maker Challenge to pull myself out of the funk and get into a positive and healthy flow."
Ms Hannan has shared the challenge with many of her clients and now it's time to share it with the world.
"Issues around mental health and self-care within the workplace, and more specifically in mining, are now openly discussed and highlighted in our communities and in the media," she said.
"In the light of this, the 30 Day Momentum Maker Challenge is a timely and interactive book that will helps you to develop healthy daily habits and disrupt unhelpful ones."
Ms Hannan is an author keynote speaker and workplace wellness expert who works regularly with organisations, individuals and whole communities, often in remote locations around the State, to take back control of their lives with the aim to living and working well.
