The Margaret River Theatre Group will present their very first production within the new HEART complex this month, with the opening of their latest cabaret show, We Love Hollywood.
The show is the third in the group's We Love... series, and director Ian Smith said the musical numbers were bigger and better than ever.
"After our successful Broadway and Disney shows in Cowaramup, we are very excited to bring this next production to Margaret River," he said.
"We Love Hollywood is performed and produced by an entirely local cast and crew - from the vocalists and live band on stage to the hardworking team backstage and in the production office making sure everything runs smoothly."
Billed as an homage to songs made famous, or written specifically for, movie soundtracks, the show presented a common problem for Smith and his team.
"As always, we have whittled the list from about 100 songs to a fantastic, entertaining and fast paced show filled with singing, dancing, movie clips and tributes to those unforgettable moments on the silver screen.
"There really is something for everyone in this production, we have songs from movies which were released in the last 12 months, right back to songs from the 1930s, 50s, 60s and beyond.
"Of course, it's impossible to do a Hollywood soundtrack show without landing on some of those 80s classics, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Flashdance, the Blues Brothers... it's safe to say we are having a lot of fun rehearsing this one!"
Tickets ($25) are on sale now, with cabaret-style seating (including cocktail tables). Gourmet cheese boards are also available for pre-purchase.
We Love Hollywood is at the Margaret River HEART from 7pm on June 21, 22, 28 and 29.
