Hawks Blue made their second trip in a fortnight to Cowaramup at the weekend, this time to play against the Bulls Red team in 9s and 11s games.
It was a blustery day at the oval but both teams put in a solid display of wet weather football.
Hawks Blue put in a strong effort all day but Bulls' coach Josh Curtis said the kids should all be proud and they're getting better every week.

The 11s game started at a cracking pace with strong wind blowing toward the school end.
Hawks Blue kicked with the wind and the team peppered the goals early with the advantage of the breeze.
Bulls kicked a couple of late goals in the term from Lachie Kirkham and Sam Jovic and things were pretty much level-pegging at quarter time.
Anaru Day scored a blinder of a goal early in the second quarter from deep in the pocket.
Sonny Miller and Flynn Yeatman also scored before half time and the kids were putting together some great passages of play - Marvin Ferris and Cael Edmonds were good through the middle, consistently giving the Bulls the momentum. Coaches awards went to Tas Rodley, Ethan Semenow and Zac Mulcahy.
Cowaramup Bulls Gold 11s had their first experience of playing under the lights at Gloucester Park when they played Hawks Orange on Friday night.
Coach Mark Jolliffe said the team had good individual efforts in the first half but put a much better team performance together in the second half of the game as they adapted to the bigger sized oval.
With Hawks Orange missing a few numbers, players were swapped from the Bulls team to assist the Margaret River side.
Coaches awards went to Kai Flynn, Flynn Anderson (who kicked a lazy four goals), Dusty Taylor and Gilbert Fokkema.
Next week it's derby time again for the Bulls.
