Sun comes out for Margaret River golfers

Last week's Tuesday Veterans 9-hole Stableford competition saw Colin Andrews in first place with 21 points, Bruce Darby in second place on 17c/b points and Ross Frazer in third with a score of 17.

Wednesday Women's 18-hole President Trophy' Par Competition was sponsored by Lady's President Libby Dawson and had first place go to Roslyn Cummings on 0 (par). In second place was Ann Elias on -1c/b and in third was Kerry Farrelly with -1.

Thursday Men's Scroungers 18-hole Stableford event was sponsored by Lago Wines. Players enjoyed much finer weather this week on the course and had a great day of golf.

First place went to Dean Kemp (42), second place was Roy Warren (41) and third place went to Colin Andrews (40).

Saturday's 18-hole Men's Stableford event was sponsored by Colin Lovelady and saw Donald Bredenkamp in first (40), Craig Abbs second (37c/b) and Brian Seed third (37).

Sunday's Mixed 18-hole Mixed Stableford event was sponsored by Cowaramup/Clownfish Wines.

Marc Dickson was first (39c/b), Jules Ashton second (39c/b) and Roslyn Cummings third (38).
