The Margaret River Hockey Club 9-12 boys team suffered a loss to Capel in a fast moving game last Friday night at the Busselton Stadium.
This fabulous team has been playing together for quite a few years and their level of commitment to the game and the team is evident in their efforts on the field.
They are a respectful, enthusiastic bunch who just love to play hockey.
New player Corey Rose played well while teammate Griffen Keen scored the goal, brilliantly set up by Ari Lane (lovely work there guys!).
This week the team played with the support of Mathilda England-Brassy (from the 9-12 girls team), Max Tas and Tom Gorta (both from the 6-8 boys team).
The final score 1-6, is no reflection of the solid effort put in by the team.
The coach Ty Bradshaw, a member of the club's A2 Men's team, trains the team on Wednesday's at the Busselton Hockey Stadium from 6-7pm.
