Employees from the Margaret River Commonwealth Bank branch have donated $500 to the Margaret River Surf Lifesaving Club as part of a nationwide community donation program.
The $500,000 donation program sees branches around the country allocated a $500 donation, the recipient of which is voted for by local employees.
Branch manager Julie Kiker said the staff were keen to continue the donations throughout their community.
"We're very excited to have the opportunity to support the Margaret River Surf Lifesaving Club," Ms Kiker said.
"In particular, we really wanted to contribute to an organisation that is relatively new in our community and help them purchase any equipment or gear they need.
"It's great to be able to give back and support their work."
