The AMRzons Football team is training hard under lights ahead of their August 9 clash with the Margaret River Masters.
As part of the team's annual fundraising event in aid of River Angels, the teams will meet at Gloucester Park in what promises to be an exciting day of family fun.
The all-female team of locals, many of them mothers - or even grandmothers - are gearing up to meet their male counterparts.
"We are also really lucky to have (Margaret River Junior Football Club President) Steve Utting coaching us this year, which is a fantastic opportunity for the players to learn from a great coach," said team spokesperson Jesse Pateman.
"A few of us mentioned it almost as a joke at the kids footy and next thing we knew, he'd said yes and we're absolutely stoked," she said.
The team, which is also sponsored by Priceline Margaret River, will meet the over 35's Masters as part of the fundraising day.
"The funds raised at last year's game were a huge help to the River Angels cause and we're really looking forward to welcoming everyone in the community down here again this year."
