Partygoers gathered at the RAC Margaret River Nature Park to toast the official launch of the 2019 Cabin Fever festival last week.
As the fires blazed and local beers and wines flowed, the region's best food was on show thanks to local restaurants and chefs serving up warming winter dishes.
A welcome to country from the Undalup Association's Zac Webb kicked off proceedings, before event organisers Brianna Delaporte and Erin Molloy thanked participants and venues involved in this year's festival, as well as acknowledging support from local, regional and state tourism associations.
AMR Shire President Pam Townshend and City of Busselton Mayor Grant Henley spoke of the importance of supporting events and festivals within the quieter winter tourism period, a sentiment echoed by the Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association's Sharna Kearney.
Cabin Fever events began around the region over the weekend, with tickets remaining to a selection of dinners, workshops, live music and masterclasses.
