Australia's beloved story, The Sapphires, is arriving in the South-West next month.
The stage at the Margaret River HEART complex will come alive with a talented young ensemble of first nations and multicultural performers set to sparkle in the acclaimed play written and directed by Tony Briggs.
A heart warming tale set in 1968 during a time of social upheaval, it tells the story of a singing group of young Yorta Yorta women who tour Vietnam to sing classic songs for the troops.
Wearing uniforms of sequins, armed only with microphones they find themselves trying to spread joy in the hell that is the Vietnam War.

The Sapphires will play one night only on August 9. Bar opens at 6.30pm and the show commences at 7.30pm.
Tickets: $40 Adult, $35 Concession, $32 Arts Hub Members, $25 Youth, $100 Family (2A+2Y)
