The Dryland Sleddog Club WA will be holding their annual dog sled race in Baudin, racing 27 kilometres down Sues Road on Saturday August 24 and Sunday August 25.
The racing starts at 6am on both mornings, beginning with with a six dog race down to one dog. There will be around 200 dogs competing.
The club are hoping for 60 to 80 mushers at the event, which is a transport method powered by dogs, the dogs pull a sled or rig on dry land.
Spectators are welcome to attend the event but are urged not bring their dogs as it can get noisy and overwhelming for them.
On Saturday night, an auction will be held.
