Schools around the Margaret River region embraced the Pink Up Our Region campaign last week, with students and teachers dressing in their finest pink costumes and displaying handmade signs of support.
Along with the festive atmosphere at the schools, funds were collected to donate to the campaign.
At St Thomas More Catholic Primary School (STMCPS), students, parents and staff dressed in pink and brought along a gold coin donation towards breast cancer research and the McGrath Foundation.
STMCPS Principal Russell Wylie said the entire school was behind the day of fun.
The students really got on board with being part of this Margaret River community initiative and wanting to raise money and awareness for such a great cause.
