Award-winning band Grace Barbé Afro-Kreol is set to perform at in the South West this month before embarking on its national tour.
Grace Barbé stepped onto the music scene more than a decade ago, after releasing her debut album Kreol Daughter in 2009.
Since then, she and her band members, drummer Hardy Perrine and guitarist Jamie Searle, have been bringing their mix of tropical rhythms among psychedelic rock, afrobeat, reggae and pop sound to audiences across the globe.

After showcasing the Kreol culture to audiences in India, East Africa and at Australia's leading music festivals, including Byron Bay Bluesfest and Woodford Folk Festival, Grace Barbé is preparing to bring her latest music to audiences across the country in her tour 'The Cat Empire'.
The tour follows the release of her latest album FANM: WOMAN earlier this year.
The band will perform at Settlers Tavern from 10pm on Friday, September 13, and Clancy's Fish Pub in Dunsborough on Sunday, September 15, before heading to the eastern states to begin its national tour.
