It is nearly time to celebrate the Margaret River & Districts Agricultural Show's 90th birthday, with early bird tickets already on sale ahead of the event over October 18 and 19.
A whopping 50 per cent discount is available on two-day adult passes purchased online prior to 5pm on Monday September 30.
Wrist bands will be posted to pre-purchase ticket holders ahead of the event.
Thanks to the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River, children aged 0 to 16 can enter the Show for free when accompanied by a parent or guardian and do not need to pre-purchase a pass.
Event organisers said the birthday celebrations would be a chance to recognise the impact of the annual event since its inception 90 years ago.
The first Margaret River Agricultural Show was held in Mr. T. Higgins' paddock in 1929.
Following that event the show was held on a site west of the railway station for several years.
In 1934 and subsequent years, except for a lapse during the war years, the annual show has been held at Gloucester Park.
The 2019 Margaret River & Districts Agricultural Show will be held on Friday 18th October from 4pm and Saturday 19th October from 10am at the Gloucester Park Showgrounds. For information and ticket sales, visit www.margaretrivershow.com
