The launch of a new book was celebrated at the Margaret River Lifestyle Village, honouring the work of author and soon-to-be resident, Sue Juniper.
The function, hosted in the Clubhouse facility, featured the unveiling of Juniper's memoir, Our Little Life, in front of a group of 80 guests.
In a Q&A session with event emcee Ian Parmenter, the author was asked her reasons for writing her story and the significance of the name.

She quoted from Shakespeare's The Tempest - 'We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep.'
She said she felt it talked about "the transience of life and how quickly it flits away, without a memory."
"It was for my children really, so much of one's life doesn't get talked about, so I started writing it down," she said.
Our Little Life is available in the Margaret River and Augusta libraries, the Margaret River Bookshop and Augusta Newsagency.
