Margaret River Senior High School students, teachers and chaperones headed to China earlier this month for the school's annual China trip.
According to Asian Languages Teacher Angela McCoy, the group jetted from Perth Airport on October 5 and spent two weeks visiting Beijing , Xian, Shanghai and Haining.
"Our Haining sister school also took us to Hangzhou," said Ms McCoy.
"Our itinerary was really full on, and we were invited for a welcome dinner by the Foreign Affairs Office, Education Department and Deputy Mayors of Haining."
Students took part in traditional dance and art workshops, visited their sister school and got a taste for the education system in China.
A stop to the Great Wall as well as numerous Chinese dining and cultural experiences gave the young tourists a chance to appreciate the vast country before returning home to share their adventures with their families and classmates.
