The South West Zone has proven its dominance as a regional tennis powerhouse, claiming both the D'Arcy Slater Cup (boys) and Women in Tennis Foundation Cup (girls) 13/U teams based competitions.
After taking out the D'Arcy Slater Cup Single event, Bunbury's Korbin Priestley will travel to Melbourne for the 2020 Judy Dalton Cup.
Alongside him will be Dunsborough's Holly Braddock who was a finalist in the Women in Tennis Foundation Cup. The D'Arcy Slater Cup was help in Geraldton and there was a South West girls and boys team representing the region.
Priestley led the boys along with Dunsborough's Tom Culley, Fletcher Braddock, William Shanahan, Margaret River's Samuel Newland-Gleeson, Donnybrook's Euan Tuia and fellow Bunbury players Thomas and Nicholas Bouzada, Eamon Ramsay, Daniel Strooh, Damien Tujin and Jaxon Wiperi.
The boys team won all their matches and only dropped two sets along the way.
Braddock was captain for the girls team with Dunsborough's Holly Cucel, Amelie Shanahan, Matilda Anderson, Maddison Cucel, Bunbury's Ranielle Eltagonde, Margaux Ramsey and Brunswick's Alifaye Gidgup.
The girls also won all six matches and only dropped two sets in the competition.
The D'Arcy Slater Cup and Women in Tennis Foundation Cup is seen as the two pinnacle events for WA regional players.
The 2020 Judy Dalton Cup, will bring together Australia's top performing regional athletes at Victoria's historic Kooyong Lawn TC.
Priestly and Braddock will travel to Melbourne in January.
