A new book from Cape to Cape Publishing is due to be launched at the Margaret River Bookshop next week.
'Wildflowers and Wetland Plants of the Margaret River and its Hinterland' by Jane Scott celebrates the wonderful and surprisingly diverse flora that can be found in our own backyard.
Photographs of nearly 300 species highlight many of the eye-catching and colourful wildflowers which grow in the area, as well as some of the less charismatic, but equally precious wetland sedges and rushes.
Introductory and final sections of the book discuss the river's environment and its importance to us all.
'Wildflowers and Wetland Plants of the Margaret River and its Hinterland' will be launched at the Margaret River Bookshop on Wednesday November 20 from 6.00pm.
This is a free event, however RSVPs are requested for catering purposes to 9757 3331 or email mrbookshop@outlook.com
