From the beginning of January, Karridale comes alive with visitors from all over the world, performers and participants jetting into WA to spend two weeks immersed in the world of circus.
The purpose built site, boasts four big tops, a bar with a performing space, three converted buses and a huge camping ground.
Kids, young adults, adults spend 6 hours a day learning circus skills from over 60 international performers.
Every hour participants can choose from over 20 different classes and participate in what is considered one of the finest circus training programs in the world.
Many participants choose to camp onsite, with dining and bar facilities boasting local food, beer and wine.
A group of performers who all originally trained in Karridale as kids will be returning to the the Training Project to teach, breaking off from their busy international touring schedule.
The training precedes the festival weekend, 'Karnidale' from January 17-19. For more info visit www.facebook.com/circusfestival
